The mission of MMCC is to improve the lives of Bronx and Manhattan residents with a dedication to humanitarian efforts—reaching out to a rich tapestry of cultures, building gateways to success through quality service and programs, building confidence and sustainability, and working toward self-sufficiency for the individuals it serves.
Located in 41 locations across the Bronx and Manhattan, MMCC has the capacity to serve over 35,000 total clients. For the 800 to 900 older adults actively served, the organization offers three senior centers, elder abuse and nutrition programs, and case management services. It provides falls prevention programs (MOB and Tai Chi for Arthritis), and also has experience providing CDSMP and Walk with Ease.
