The Jewish Community Center of Staten Island has been providing social services to the residents of Staten Island for more than 85 years. Service recipients include older adults, at-risk youth, immigrants, and economically disadvantaged, emotionally impaired and/or physically disabled individuals. The agency’s mission is to provide facilities, activities and leadership for the physical, intellectual, cultural and spiritual growth of the community.
Through high-quality programs, the JCC of Staten Island furthers the abilities of over 40,000 residents, including 8,000 older adults. The JCC operates three senior centers, Caregiver Support Center, Social Adult Day program for individuals diagnosed with dementia, and case management. We also offer evidence-based Fall Prevention Programs (Tai Chi for Arthritis and SAIL), as well as a Diabetes Prevention Program.
